Kicking Horse Coffee is a roaster in Invermere, British Columbia, started in 1996 when its founders began roasting in a garage. It was an early Canadian seller of both fair trade and organic coffee. The company was sold to Italy's Lavazza Group in a deal reported at $215 million.
